This is a false color infrared candid street portrait. The old world European seaside resort city is crowded, and the strong, determined woman in a bikini toting a beach bag is in a hurry to get to the beach. Photograph with an infrared convert Nikon D3300 and Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8G lens.
This photograph has been made with an infrared (IR) converted Nikon D3300 camera. The false color interpretation is intended to give a soft, fairy tale like atmosphere to the scene. Here we see a juxtaposition between the softness of the infrared and the strong character of the lady. The natural tendency of infrared is to give the skin a smooth porcelain texture. The strong summer tan of the lady comes out darker than most infrared photographs of people.
