Description
Have you ever heard the expression, "I got up on the wrong side of the bed"? I took this image of my shadow on the bathroom wall shortly after I got up. It reminds me that I have a choice! As a technical note, this is not two images spliced together, but rather a single photograph made with two natural room light sources. Surrealistic abstract image made with a Nikon D810.

John Bailey
Hi and welcome to the group. I appreciate that you chose to join this group and I hope you will find participating in it beneficial to you. Our group goal is simply to promote each other outside of FAA by expanding our footprint by as many means as possible. We want to attract the attention of prospective buyers rather than only mixing with fellow artists. By working together we expect to reach many more people than any one of us can do alone. To see all the opportunities being offered I recommend reading the group discussions and update yourself with our goings on. Current projects are using social media to promote our work. We are taking the use of these tools a step further than merely sharing links with each other. Members are actively promoting each other on these tools to get our art in front of more people. If you are interested post your Twitter link and Facebook link on the appropriate discussion threads. We also now have discussion threads for posting Pinterest and Google+ links. If you've ever thought about using these platforms to get your work out there, now is a good time to start. This group gives you a built in starting network for each social media platform and is a great resource for info to get you off to a good start. Also, our Tips, Tricks, and Tidbits thread is a growing source of help and an opportunity to ask questions. As we grow and learn we will find new ways to more effectively use the internet. Two keys to our mutual success will be quality work and active participation. By submitting work you are proud of we can promote and use the group image gallery as a collection of standout work to serve as a doorway to visitors finding your websites. We are also directly promoting individual work and individual member FAA sites. The more involved you are in this promotion effort, the more prospective clients will be reached. Quality, activity and promotion are the best draws in the world of the internet. It is all about getting buyers for our art. It won't happen if we don't try. I'm happy you joined us! I wish you all the best! John Bailey
