Each year I look forward to the Houston Via Colori outdoor street art festival. Artists get a chance to show their chalk work on the streets of downtown Houston for the weekend. In 2017 I decided to take a fisheye to try to get both the artist and their work into one image. When I would show them the image in the camera monitor, the response was repeatedly ... WOW. I agree... Wow to the artists and Wow to their work! This Artist's name is Naomi Haverlyn.
21st Century Color image of the Via Colori Art festival in downtown Houston at Hermann Square at City Hall and the surrounding streets of McKinney, Bagby and Walker (November 2017)... The Decisive Moment. All roads lead to creativity when over 200 artists converge on the streets to celebrate the artistic spirit of Houston Texas for the beginning of winter weekend. In 2017 the festival attracted more than 25,000 attendees with its diverse art, music, activities and food and drinks.
