Description
This is a 21st Century night photograph of the streets of Houston, Texas (Southside Place) near the intersection of Bellaire Blvd and Stella Link after a rainstorm made with a Nikon D810. In the rain, colors become naturally bright and saturated.
Southside Place is a city in west central Harris County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,715 at the 2010 census. Southside Place functions as a bedroom community for upper-middle- and upper-class families in Houston, Texas. As of the 2000 census, Southside Place was the 13th wealthiest location in Texas by per capita income.

How that intersection has changed since the 50s & 60s; you do justice to how the rain is part & parcel of Houston, Norman - nice shot! like/fav!

Yes, Felipe, A&O Lamp Co is still here but the Bellaire theatre in the next block has been remodeled into a Whole Foods. The exterior tower is still recognizable but the rest is gone. I need to get down to the River Oaks Theatre and make some rainy night photos while it is still in business.
