This 21st Century Photograph is of the Hornblower, a double stack catamaran tour boat that challenges Niagara Falls. The Hornblower operates from the Canadian side of the Niagara river while the Maid of the Mist operates from the American side. The boat starts off at a calm part of the Niagara River, near the Rainbow Bridge, and takes its passengers past the American and Bridal Veil Falls, then into the dense mist of spray inside the curve of the Horseshoe Falls, also known as the Canadian Falls. This is a favorite spot for vacation tourists and a well known Honeymoon destination.
Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between the Canadian province Ontario and the American state of New York. They form the southern end of the Niagara Gorge.
