Description
The George R. Brown Convention Center, opened on September 26, 1987, is located on the east side of Downtown Houston, Texas, United States. In this night photograph, we see the show-stopping piece of public art will be Ed Wilson’s "Soaring in the Clouds" displayed overhead in the new grand lobby’s glass façade. The architect for the structure is Mario Bolullos. It has been described as a high-tech basilica that establishes a modern city wall at the eastern edge of Houston's downtown.
